The Scandvik 12" LED Rail Light puts 550 lumens of even, neutral white light into a slim aluminum bar. Fifty-eight small LEDs sit behind a high-impact lens, so you get one smooth line of light with no bright dots. It mounts with two screws and runs on 12V or 24V.

It's bright enough to work by under a T-top or in an engine room, and it dims down when you want a softer glow.

Key features

  • Smooth light with no hot spots: 58 x 0.2W 2835 LEDs behind a diffusing lens
  • Real working light: 550 effective lumens at 4500K neutral white
  • Sealed for wet spaces: IP67 rated against dust and temporary immersion
  • Fits 12V or 24V boats: 0.73A at 12V, 0.37A at 24V, 8.88 watts
  • Set the brightness you want: dimmable with the Scandvik 41598P dimmer
  • Clean wire runs: notched end cap routes wires out the side or back through the mounting surface
  • Built for salt air: extruded aluminum housing with stainless mounting screws included

A 12-inch LED rail light that lights the whole space

Point-source LEDs throw bright spots and dark gaps, which gets old fast when you're rigging or working on an engine. This fixture packs 58 LEDs into 12 inches and spreads them through a lens. The result reads like a single tube of light.

The 4500K color sits between warm and cool white. Colors look true, so you can read wire colors, spot leaks, and see what's on deck without the blue cast of cooler LEDs.

The notched end cap is a small detail that saves time. Drop the wires straight through the mounting surface for a hidden install, or run them out the side when you can't drill behind it.

Where to use it

  • Under T-tops and hardtops on center consoles
  • Engine rooms and bilges where you need bright, true color
  • Cockpits, wet bars, and outdoor galleys
  • Under gunwales and along cockpit coaming
  • Storage lockers, lazarettes, and cabin overheads

Does it work on 12V and 24V boats? Yes. It runs on either 12V or 24V DC. It draws 0.73 amps at 12V and 0.37 amps at 24V, about 8.88 watts in both cases.
