Typically, the company launches between 2-3 yachts per year and has 4-6 projects under construction at various stages of completion. This 154-foot semi-displacement design is built for high-performance reaching maximum speeds of 24-knots. Powered by twin MTU 16V4000's and carrying 14,500 US gallons of fuel, she will easily have a range of 3,500 nautical miles. Her exterior is sleek with a low profile. On the interior be prepared to transport to a private tropical island getaway, the actualization of authentic Polynesian artistry and modern invention have inspired this yacht's interior concept. Polynesian influences mingle with suggestions of modernism, technology and aerodynamics. It's a synergy of tropical textures indigenous to Hawaii juxtaposed with finely polished details. The overall effect is brimming with texture, a harmonious contrast of modern and primitive, and delighting all with imagination.

Taking advantage of the enormous volume of this hull, the new Nordhavn 86 offers accommodations that are nothing short of remarkable. The saloon and galley measures 36 feet in length, the master cabin and head are full width consuming the whole forward/upper section of the vessel and the combination of wheelhouse, captain's cabin and sky lounge measure almost 30 feet in length. In addition to the master stateroom and captain's cabin, the vessel includes three guest staterooms with ensuite heads and an additional crew cabin and head aft with an interior and exterior entrance. A laundry and utility room are also provided.
