Flush Mounting Devices - Technical Characteristics



Flush Mounting Monitor

The LCD Monitor is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, 4 buttons for the video door entry functions (communication, auxillary circuit, door opening and stair lights), 6 push-buttons for navigation, selection and setting the functions of home automation menu, an indicator LED and a trimmer to adjust the colour of the video.

On the back of the device there are two connectors for connecting the video door entry modules 01961 or 01962 and the home automation control unit module 01960; the LCD Monitor must be installed in 8-module (4+4) flush mounting boxes V71318

    The LCD monitor can work in five separate modes depending on the combinations with which the modules 01960, 01961 and 01962 are inserted.

    Control Unit Modules - 01960 & 01961, 01962

    Control Unit Module - 01960

    The device, suitably integrated with the color monitor 20550, enables converting the latter into a flush mounting control unit for integrated control of comfort, safety, energy saving and remote control in the marine and commercial sectors.

    OPERATING
    The front push buttons are used to configure and manage the system, enter the parameters of the single devices, program all the function associated with the scenes, automations, intrusion detection and access control.

    The "diagnostics" menu provides a rapid analysis of the operation of all the system devices.

    Video Door Entry Modules 01961 and 01962

    The device, suitably integrated with the color monitor 20550, enables converting the latter into a flush mounting speakerphone video door entry unit.

    The video door entry module is none other than an audio-video interface through which it is possible to have voice and images interact; the device is equipped with inputs and outputs that enable connecting the video door entry unit with the other system appliances (power supply, stair lights, electric lock, etc.).

  • 01961 - Sound System Module Operating The Sound System enables creating types of systems where communication between the devices is analogue and that, compared to conventional systems, offers some advantages, such as call generated in the power supply, call differentiation and cleaner voice signal.

  • 01962 - DigiBus Module Operating The DigiBus system enables creating types of systems where device and control identification is digital. Depending on the system configuration, the typical control operations of a video door entry system such as, for instance, call, electric lock opening, switching on stair lights, etc., are all coded.

  • Sound System Speakerphone

    The speakerphone unit, to be installed only on ELVOX Sound System analogue systems, enables communication with the outdoor station (ELVOX Sound System plate or landing call button 20575-14575).

    The device is equipped with three front buttons for the speakerphone communication, auxillary circuit and door opening functions respectively and two trimmers to adjust the audio and bell volumes.

    This device, installed with the video cameras 20560, 14560, 20565 and 14565 enables lighting the subject to film from the front to have an optimal view of the image on the monitor 20550.
    The light is equipped with a high-efficiency LED with a white light, reflecting dish and diffuser.

    Sound System Landing Call Button

    The device, to be installed only on ELVOX Sound System analogue systems, enables calling and communication with the indoor station (speakerphone units 20555, 14555 or monitor 20550 together with video door entry module 01961).
    The device is equipped with a button with a lightable name plate and a trimmer to adjust the sensitvity of the microphone.

    Operating
    To make a call, press the button on the plate; the indoor station that will receive it will, when applicable, enable the conversation. For optimal acoustic output for the communication it is recommended to speak at a maximum distance of approximately 40 cm from the device.
    The sensitivity of the microphone is adjusted with a trimmer on hte back of device (figure alongside).

    DigiBus Landing Call Button

    The device, to be installed only on ELVOX DigiBus digital systems, enables calling and communication with the indoor station (speakerphone units 20556, 14556 or monitor 20550 together with video door entry module 01962).
    The device is equipped with a button with a lightable name plate and two trimmers to adjust the volume of the speaker and the sensitvity of the microphone.

    Operating
    To make a call, press the button on the plate; the indoor station that will receive it will, when applicable, enable the conversation. For optimal acoustic output for the communication it is recommended to speak at a maximum distance of approximately 40 cm from the device. The DigiBus landing call button, via terminals 5 and 6, allows connecting an appropriate external relay for opening a local lock.

    To control this opening it is necessary to short the voice to earth via a NO button (terminals 4 and 12); alternatively, if you have video door entry (20550 + 01962), you can use the dedicated combination of buttons (see the instructions manual 01962).
    In addition, it is possible to connect an additional bell button to the terminals P and 4.
